Brenda enjoyed the love of six grandchildren. Initially she wasn't keen on becoming a grandmother before her 40th birthday. She didn't fancy being entered for too many glamorous granny competitions. Brenda was delighted when Jackie gave birth to Lisa in April 1981. Garry had Aaron later in 1981. Then Jackie gave birth to Gemma in November 1982. So, Brenda had three grandchildren by the end of her 40th year. More grandchildren followed when Jackie had Jack in 1992. Then David had Samantha in January 2003 and Jodie in July 2004.
